Vodafone cuts iPhone 3G price in India by $47(Rs 2000)

Vodafone has reduced the prices of the iPhone 3G by Rs. 2000 ($47) , the main reason being the poor response that it received during the first 2 days and the general dissapointment among the middle class people about the high prices.

• The iPhone 3G was earlier available at Rs 31,000 ($720) for 8GB and Rs 36,100 ($840) for 16 GB.
  
• After the reduction on prices the 8GB model would set you back by 29,000 ($673) and the 16 GB model by34000 ($793) .Vodafone will definitely get the advantage as Bharti Airtel continues to sell in the original price.
  

Whether it was Vodafone or Apple who cut the price is still not clear but do expect more price drops in the days to come.
